A life long resident of Greer, Susan knows many local business people, knows several generations of families in the Upstate and knows properties all over the Upstate. Graduating from Greer High School and then from Furman University with a B.A. in English, she taught English in Spartanburg and Greenville county schools for 32 years. She is married to Walter M. Burch, co-owner and co-publisher of The Greer Citizen. They raised two children who now reside in Charleston with their spouses and a granddaughter. Susan has sold real estate since 1973 and she joined Prudential C. Dan Joyner as a full time agent in 2003. Since 2003, she has been the top listing agent for all four years and the top agent in her office for the last two years.
