Dan Joyner Co., REALTORS® Corporate Services offers an extensive program to assist international transferees.  Our corporate counselors provide leasing opportunities and “settling in” services for employees from other countries.

The International Center of the Upstate (ICU) is a non-profit organization that promotes cross-cultural understanding among local and international residents of the Upstate.  The ICU’s programs and services support international businesses and advance the Upstate as an important hub for international business. Our organization offers a personalized relocation service with trained consultants that speak the native language of the newcomer. The International Relocation Program consultants guide the newcomers through the bureaucratic challenges of moving to a new country, including obtaining a Social Security number, getting a driver’s license, and opening up a bank account. In addition, after the initial arrival, the ICU continues to play an important role in helping families with the “settling in” process. We do this through classes, social activities, clubs, educational programs, and personal networks that enable people to get connected to their new community.  With over ten year’s experience, the ICU has helped to welcome more than 300 international families to the Upstate.
