Safe Harbor Resale Shop

Safe Harbor is a non-profit organization that offers a variety of services for survivors of domestic violence and their children in Upstate SC. The Resale Shop is one of the ways that Safe Harbor raises money to support its mission. They offer gently-used clothing, shoes, accessories, furniture, and home decor that have been donated by the local community. They moved to this new location on September 1st, 2020.

Miracle Hill Thrift Stores

Multiple Locations

Miracle Hill is a local, evangelical ministry that helps homeless children and adults by providing food and shelter; they share the gospel with them and help them move towards healthy relationships and stability. There are eight different Miracle Hill Thrift Store locations spread throughout the Upstate SC; they also have 18 drop-off locations. Along with clothes, shoes, and home goods, Miracle Hill also sells used cars at a reasonable price; you can donate your used car, truck, boat, motorcycle, or RV. All of the income generated from donations and shopping at the thrift stores directly supports Miracle Hill and its mission.

Second Chance Thrift Shop

2425 New Easley Hwy, Greenville, SC29611

The Second Chance Thrift Shop is run by the CCA (Concerned Citizens for Animals). The CCA’s mission is to provide homes for neglected, stray, and abandoned animals. The store prides itself on being super clean and well organized. All proceeds from the store go to supporting CCA’s mission.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. They build homes with the hope that everyone has a decent place to live. Their ReStore locations offer discounted new and used household items and building materials to prevent them from going to the landfill. All donations and purchases help keep Habitat for Humanity’s mission alive. 

Goodwill

Probably the most well-known thrift store all over the USA is Goodwill. Goodwill is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping people become independent through education and training leading to employment. Goodwill has many locations spread throughout the Upstate, including Greenville, Traveler’s Rest, Simpsonville, Anderson, and Spartanburg.

Haven of Rest Thrift Store

Multiple Locations

Haven of Rest is a Bible-based discipleship ministry that serves the greater Anderson community; its mission is to help men and women struggling with addiction and homelessness. They sell clothes, furniture, appliances, and more. All sales and donations help meet the needs of Haven of Rest’s Mission.

The Dream Center Resale Store

Multiple locations

The Dream Center is a non-profit that provides a hand-up, instead of a handout. By educating and empowering those in need, The Dream Center hopes to help people become self-sufficient. The Dream Center receives no government funding, they rely on the sales of their Resale Stores in order to operate. All proceeds go to supporting the Dream Center and it’s 23 tiny homes and 10 transitional homes.

Helping Hands of Clemson

Helping Hands of Clemson is a foster home for abused and neglected children. A third of their budget comes from the sales of their thrift store. The store is run completely on donations of time, money, and goods. 

The Nearly New Shop

118 Greenacre Rd, Greenville, SC 29607

The Nearly New Shop is the Junior League of Greenville’s Resale Store. The store’s purpose is to provide funds for the numerous projects and programs that the Junior League works on each year. The Nearly New Shop provides fabulous clothing, shoes, books, and home goods for a nominal price!
