The second season of HGTV’s “We Bought The Farm” follows Greenville locals Wesley Turner and Daniel Schavey as they hunt for a picturesque farm with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS‘ Katie Scardo Reid. The episode airs on June 3rd at 11pm and will immediately go into syndication.
Wes and Daniel are the owners of the home decor stores ROOTS an Urban Oasis and 4Rooms, both located on Augusta Street. The show’s producers contacted them after taking note of their quickly growing Instagram account: @FarmShenanigans.
“We wanted to move out of the city center but stay close enough to commute,” says Wes. “Our hope was space for more beehives, more chickens and farm animals. And, a place to start our next business adventure: a cut flower farm.”
During the episode, REALTOR® Katie Scardo Reid tours four farm properties in the Upstate with the couple, who ultimately choose their future home. The show was filmed for five days last November.
“The guys were so excited to jump into farm life, they bought a tractor immediately after closing,” says Katie. “We found their dream farm, and they were ready to get started.”
Want to see inside the transformed farmhouse? Farm Shenanigans is the featured cover story for atHome Magazine Summer issue with a 12-page home reveal, on newsstands June 9.
