Mr. S. Britt Gillespie is a Multifamily Investment Sales Broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS Commercial Division. In this new role, Mr. Gillespie leads all aspects of the brokerage of multifamily investments in the Upstate of South Carolina, including principal relationships, effective due diligence management, and keeping his finger on the pulse of the quickly evolving multifamily markets.
A proponent of responsible development, Mr. Gillespie is an Associate Member of ULI South Carolina.
Mr. Gillespie is no stranger to commercial real estate, having first entered the field in 2003 in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. Beginning his career in commercial land sales, including annexation and rezoning processes in multiple municipalities, he chose to develop a specialty in his career and spent five years with the top multifamily investment sales team at Newmark Knight Frank. In his time with Newmark Knight Frank, his team successfully closed over 3,000 units sold for more than $140 million. Most recently, he was with Cushman & Wakefield US managing a medical office sales/leasing team. To date, Mr. Gillespie has been a part of over $300 million in successful commercial real estate transactions.
Mr. Gillespie works hand-in-hand with his clients to fully understand their real estate investment objectives and long-range plans to effectively and realistically achieve their goals. Knowledge is power, and Mr. Gillespie leverages relationships with lenders, developers, and property managers to assist his clients in fully understanding the state and trajectory of the commercial real estate market. Mr. Gillespie is excited to return to his roots in the Upstate and bring his experience to the quickly growing Greenville Spartanburg marketplace.
Mr. Gillespie is an avid Braves and Diamondbacks baseball fan, dog lover, hiker, and auto aficionado. He proudly supports Pickens County Humane Society and American Legion Post 52, Easley, in honor of his father’s military service.
