Ying moved to Greenville, South Carolina, over 13 years ago with her husband, Sam, and their two children, Evy and William. Indeed, she quickly became an integral part of the community. She taught art at East Link Academy, a Chinese immersion school, and shared her love for Chinese culture with young learners. She continues to participate actively in local Chinese school events and activities.
